Grand Mastery Question

Hi all,

Ok, this may seem like a very basic question, but in all my time playing EQ, I have only recently become very interested in tradeskills. Now, the char that is workingon his tradeskills is currently level 34, can he, without reaching level 51+ attain GM level on any single tradeskill, or do I have to get to 51+ to get AA points into tannery AA skill?

I'm trying to figure out how to handle this char atm, a variety of his trade skills are getting up pretty fast, but I want my smithing to be my first GM skill, so if for any to be a GM I need AA points, I have no worries, otherwise, I need to worry about which one breaks 200 first =)

Of the "main seven", you can break a skill of 200 in ONE of them.

For each additional one, you must do the AA, so just be careful to make sure Smithing breaks 200 first. Good luck to you!

You do NOT need New Tanaan Crafting Mastery to take ONE tradeskill over 200. You only need it for your SECOND (and third, and fourth...) tradeskill past 200.

So, yes, be sure that smithing gets to 201 first if that's the one you want to GM first.
