Two merchants broken on TP including Eshe. Yours too?

I first found out the merchant in the bank building in PoT that sells JC stuffs can not be right clicked a few days ago.

Last night I went to get some Emerald Tea Leaves to make some sheets. I found I could not right click Sirekoth Eshe.

Is this server-wide?

I did a bug report on both of them. I sent a petition stating I was going to bed and the petition was a FYI so maybe they could reset them.

Sirekoth still is not fixed.

This occasionally happens, and has happened before multiple times. I suggest you /bug this and then /petition for the vendor to be reset due to inaccessibility (like for making Ethereal Tempers!).

I honestly don't know *why* it happens...however, Sirekoth Eshe and the JC vendor in PoT are heavily trafficked vendors in both zones. I've also seen it happen to Merchant Tekrama and the two spell and component merchants across from him. I'm guessing perhaps that just too many people have been clicking on them?

This is something that seems to happen when merchants move away from their spawn point. Now theoretically, it should be impossible to move merchants in PoK because the only real way to do that involves actions that will agro them. I would hazard a guess that this is somehow happening to the merchants in PoK anyway, but I have no idea how. Presumeably, long term use is nudging them just a little bit, and thus making them refuse to do business with people.

Just last night, my experience with Sirekoth Eshe was that only 1 person could have his inventory open at a time. This is the first time I've seen that particular thing happen. When the person who was using that vendor left, I could then buy and sell with him.

There's two vendor bugs I know about. One is very old, the other is more recent. The old one is a vendor off their spawn point by a significant amount, where they aren't pathing back home. When you try to use the vendor, they give you the "I am busy" line. The only way to fix such a vendor is to have them moved back to their spawn point, or to try and train them back to the correct spot.

The newer bug has been around for a bit, and is what Gokusprout described. One person will be using a vendor. If a second person tries to use the same vendor, they find they cannot. As soon as they right-click on the vendor, they lose target on him and nothing else happens. As soon as the first person leaves, the second person can use the vendor without issues. I have seen a player tie up the Bazaar bag vendor in this manner all night, preventing players from getting new trader satchels. I have yet to see this behaviour in a zone where the vendors can be attacked, but given the traffic levels in PoK/Bazaar versus elsewhere this may not be part of the problem. I've never seen this problem fixed by anything other than a patch resetting all the vendors, although from descriptions here it sounds as though killing and respawning the vendor would also do the trick.

Hm. Tekrama on Nameless is now broken. target him, right click and lose target, and nothing else happens... there was no one else around. So, it's not only when someone else is using the merchant.

What's weird is I was having this problem with Tekrama, and I kept walking around him and it eventually worked once I was behind him. But it definitely made going into bazaar AFK a pain.

I've been getting the "You are already browsing my wares, Catranizi" (when I'm obviously not).

This is happening in more than just that location. Catranizi's post sounds just like what I when through with the merchant who sells trader satchels in the Bazaar. This was shortly after the patch that added the mass imbue spells. I kept clicking on the merchant and kept getting the same message Catranizi did but no window opened up. I walk away far enough that the window would have closed on it's own and came back to try again. It worked then so I didn't think much of it.

Well the Perago Crotal guy was /killed this morning on TM. Didn't get to see if respawn was still buggy to me (or if it was permanently killed).

If that is the guy who sells the lettuce he is bugged on EMarr as well. At first I thought it was just the "someone is already using the vendor so he is being a snoot and only dealing with one customer at a time" deal. Which for that one instance, the first time I experienced this problem with him, that was the case because he sold to me right after that person was done. Later on though he just wouldn't sell to anyone period. I petitioned and they confirmed that he is indeed bugged (really no kidding?! :P) They said nothing about killing him to get him to respawn or anything only that they would report it.

Sucks too cuz he is the only vendor in PoK that sells lettuce.
