OK so I was exploring the new Droga tonight with a group of friends, and we came across a pottery wheel in the Jail...only instead of listing "Pottery Wheel" as the container name, it was "Always Works". Being a 222 potter, this intrigues me -- if this thing is an uber wheel that doesn't fail, you're right as rain to assume that I'd be binding myself next to it and busting out the phat ceramic stuff.
I remember something about the Dalnir Forge being "Always Works" too, and there's in-game lore to back up the theory that the Dalnir Forge has a certain magical property to it. However, I haven't been able to reach anyone who has tried to use these suspicious tradeskill containers =/
So my questions are these:
A.) Do these "Always Works" containers actually do what they are listed? Since both of the ones I know about are deep in their respective dungeons, it would make sense that an adventurer risking his life to get down there (especially Droga now. LOTS of even cons to a 61 ><
would be greeted with some type of magical property to the container. But, this IS Sony we're dealing with here.
B.) If they do work, then how do they prevent a_noob01 with Pottery (0) from walking up, throwing in his Artisan's seal that he bought in the Bazaar and his tools to make a trophy?
It may sound a little dumb to ask about something like this, but I can't find any information because everyone I know are skeptics and haven't tried it. I figure someone here can either confirm that these are "uber-l33t tradeskill machines of doom" that are sent from the Heavens, or confirm that I am a naive idiot and pop my fantasy-bubble, bringing my back to reality that "there is no cheating the system"
EDIT: The heck with spellcheck, where's mah grammar check? ><
