I dont really like trade skills but im at the point where there the only thing i have left to do apart from for endless AA's YAY so just trying to get a trophy. i already have 130 pottery but ive heard the horror stories of pottery. I have 60 smithing but seems to cost alot for not much. I was thinking brewing time consuming but not too expensive I was just wondering what would be the easiest to lvl up? brewing, baking? or another skill?

Easiest?
Jewelcrafting - all 2 item combines with vendor bought ingrediants, but can cost 20-25K to GM
Cheapest?
Brewing - Mino hero brews are a 9 item combine that will take you to 248, but fairly cheap with vendor bought ingrediants and all of the ingrediants stack now that casks are stackable.

If keyword is 'easy', stay away from smithing/tailoring/flething/pottery. Fletching is ok till 202, then ity gets ugly.
Brewing can be done 0-248 on storebought stuff, but from 188 on 'll be doing 9-component combines. (ouch)
Baking - maybe, not sure.
If you have the cash to blow, the easiest is Jewelcraft. Every combine is exactly 2 pieces, everything stacks, and you generally can go 0-250 without moving a step.Bregalad Alcarin, High Elf Coercer, Xev <In Via Dämnum>

If you are bored and just want a trophy, brewing is the way to go, unless you are super rich and want to blow 10k on a whim for JC. You can get to 250 brewing on less then 100pp (barring really low int/wis). Downside to skilling up for a brewing trophy.... it's the most expensive trophy, as it takes a corking device which is tinkered and consumes a blue diamond.Tinile, 85th Druid of the Seventh Hammer

Brewing is the cheapest and easiest, JC is the easiest but a tad bit more expensive - if you've got plat to burn, then do JC, if you're on a budget, go with brewing - both of those can get you to GM status from all merchant items.
Technically, fletching can allow you to do this as well but it's a bit harder than JC and WAY more expensive as well.
No more EQ for me till they fix the crash bug.

Personally, I would dabble a bit in all of them in the hopes that you will hit on one you like...maybe take all to 100 and then see which one you like the best. I absolutely LOVED getting baking to 250, I had a blast! It's not the easiest because of all the combines and forages and stuff but I really had a good time with it. I would not necessarily go for "the easiest" just because it was, if I were starting over I would take my own advice and dabble in each in the hopes of finding one I really liked. The only ones I haven't tried are the race/class specific ones (tinkering, poiisonmaking, alchemy) but I may even dabble in those eventually.Jmorgaia Tinybubbles

No, you are not blind. Some people have been navigating these boards long enough that they can easily find whatever they are looking for. They seem to forget that some things can be extremely difficult to find, if not impossible, for someone new to this site. Heck, I’ve been coming here for about two years and I still have trouble finding things sometimes.
Here is a link to what you’ll need for a trade skill trophy: http://www.eqtraders.com/secrets/recipes_trophies.htm
As others have said, brewing is a very easy and cheap rout to getting a trophy. Though it can be a pain in the wrist. After a couple of years of pursuing trade skills and never getting any of them to 250 I decided to take the fastest rout to a trophy and finally getting my weight reduction bag. I took brewing to 248 and successfully made my trophy on the first attempt, thank the gods. Its my belief that because brewing is so easy and cheap Sony made the brewing trophy the most expensive to make. But it was well worth it. The bags are extremely useful and the trophy never leaves my range slot. But be warned that the RNG, random number generator, can be extremely fickle. I’ve read posts where people with 250 skill plus a geerlok have still failed their trophy combines as many as ten times. For a brewing trophy this can be especially costly.
