Tradeskill Trophy Question

Hiya guys,

I have made 14 attempts at the Fletching tradeskill trophy so far and each have failed. I need some advice

When I first started attempting the trophy my skill was 245 and I had a geerlock...which should have taken it up to the 252 cap. Eight of the attempts were made with that skill level.

So, I raised my skill level up to 248 and gave it another 6 tries. Unfortunately I have failed every try. I have now spent far more money on the trophy than I have developing my skill. However, the trophy is a point of pride

Has anyone else had this same problem? I have scanned the boards for quite some time now and I get the impression that 3 tries is pretty normal. Those of you who have succeeded on the first or second try...is there a special lucky charm that you possess?

Yes, there have been a few that have failed in upwards of 10x or more.

For me, I did 3 failures and on the 4th attempt, got Trophy for both Tailoring and JC. Brewing Trophy I got on the first attempt. I've only tried once with Flecthing and failed. Yet to see any type of good luck charm hehe.

Really sorry about your failures, but chin up, good luck is long overdue for you.

I got my enc's JC trophy on first try at 250. That was my first attempt on any char. On my druid, I then failed 6 pottery and 1 brewing trophies. I then succeeded on a pottery trophy. Not bothering for more trohpies until I have a lot more money!

I failed on my 15th attempt. LOL, I think that will be my magic number. My fletching is 248 and I also have a geerlok. So I think that I should have as good of a chance as anyone else. However, at 5K a pop for an artisian seal in the bazaar, I simply can't afford to do this anymore. I think that I may have angered the gods in some fashion :shock:

I may try again in a few months....maybe when rangers get a 'summon platinum' spell :roll:
