  • Mass Imbue Plains Pebble (specifically)

Here is my 2 coppers worth on the M.I.P.P.:

I am a 53 halfling druid with the single Imbue Plains Pebble (of course). I have 31 Imbued PP in my bank, waiting to be used when I get some HQ brute hides. I have a 173 tailoring skill. I also only have 6 Acorn Oils in the bank.
Vendors won't buy plains pebbles from you, so there aren't any on vendors like amber, SRQ, etc...You have to forage them. I am not in the Karana's that often foraging, and I will get more of the other standard forages than I will get on PP. Since I am usually running around with a C3 on, It is far more favorable for me to just cast a single imbue, than to hope that I get 5 plains pebbles for the brief time I am in those zones.

With my standard 50 CHA, the MIPP costs a little more than 105 plat. With 2 steins and 100 CHA, the cost was a little more than 85 plat. I just believe that spending 85 pp hoping to forage 5 plains pebbles is not good sense.

However, I have been hunting RM for money, and giving the FS weapons to my human to smith. I will definitely have my enchanter purchase the Mass Enchant Steel spell. And I will eventually purchase the ME silver, electrum, and gold also. So basically, I will purchase the Mass Enchant spells as the need arises.

On the trib server I saw enough Plains pebbles at 4 plat or so each in the bazaar that I bought a stack of five, then used the mass imbue plains pebbles spell I bought (before it went deity specific, missed that on the single one )

I foraged a couple also, so with some foraging while messing around and some bazaar buying it seems possible to get some about as cheap as amber and such.

I understand though, that for you it makes more sense to cast the single imbue.

This would be a mana saver for the poor guy who helps his guild make lucky cabbage for Solstice Earrings.

Or a halfling tailor who saves up for a big skillup run.

Not exactly HUGE savings, since they're not as widely used as Emeralds, but significant nonetheless.

I go to the karans alot for all sorts of thing. In EK we get a few stacks while there foraging. IT is a great life saver and not to mention save your wrists.

Imbue the Plains Pebbles and combine with enchanted metal of your choice in a jewelry kit.

Presto... vendors will buy the jewelry from you at a profit on the metal. If you can forage and imbue them, it's basically free money.

Aandaie, lucky you. I wanted to check whether they made same mistake and finally didnt take the time. I cant believe they would make the same mistake TWICE though...

I can't believe I didn't believe they would make the same mistake twice, and therefore missed out on my opportunity to get an Emerald Imbue spell in my book

                Gah!

I was away on vacation when this and the subsequent fix came along - and what really bites is that I was intending to buy the Imbue Emerald spell just before they deity-restricted that one too, but something (can't remember now) delayed me long enough that I missed out on that as well!

Oh well, maybe when they bring out the stack at a time imbue spell, I'll be around waiting!
