Kurn's Jerky Delight

This is the recipe once known as Honey Flesh and was used by the ancient Lords of Pain. They found many good uses for decayed flesh and bone. This is one of their gifts to us. Two Portions of Zombie Flesh. One Bixie Honeycomb. One Salt Minnow. Dry all these ingredients within an oven.

This recipe is now live but hasn't been solved if anyone wants to give it a go.

I'm a bit dense after getting home from a wedding reception... 2 Zombie Flesh, 1 Bixie Honeycomb, 1 Salt Minnow (shar vhal bought?). Dry them in an oven. Solve it, it's not combineable as listed above? Maybe with a smoker?

Tried in both a regular and tanaan oven:

salt minnow + honeycomb + zombie skin + zombie skin = DNC
salt minnow + honeycomb + zombie skin + zombie skin + smoker = DNC
salt minnow + honeycomb + shriveled flesh + shriveled flesh = DNC
salt minnow + honeycomb + shriveled flesh + shriveled flesh + smoker = DNC

Also tried the recipe with a single zombie skin, but I think I donly did that test in a regular oven. DNC.

Salt minnows are fished in Cabalis. I'm guessing the fishing table there has about 30 items on it. I went through 2 stacks of bait and got 1 salt minnow. They're NO DROP and unstackable, by the way. Just like sewer catfish. Same icon, too.

Generally when something needs a smoker with the recipie I tend to notice it also requires spices.... just a thought.

Been through 8 stacks of bait trying to catch a salt minnow, but maybe:

Salt minnow + spices + smoker = DNC

Didn't it say Zombie Flesh? Not zombie skin? Dunno that i've seen any zombie flesh.... but that might be the problem. where did the recipe come from?

The recipe came from the test server back a long time ago. I have had it confirmed that the recipe for Ancient Jerky Recipe does work. Although I don't know if it has changed since I can't find the recipe on the live server.

I have tried:

2 Zombie Skin + Honeycomb + Salt Minnow in both regular and Droga oven. With DNC as the result.

Zombie Flesh

I just scanned this while zoning, but Leathered Zombie flesh drops in nektulos forest and usually found on vendors. might give that a try. i might be posting out of my ass but i get bored while zoning.

Lucy lists the Leathered Zombie Flesh as combineable. I don't have time to log in and try though

edit to add: Think there might be a new kitchen toy to make for this recipe? Dehydrator? Though if it does work for the Leathered Zombie Flesh, that seems "jerky" enough to me.

RL jerky usually involves putting the meat in a marinade. Maybe sauce and/or spices in a mixing bowl before putting in the oven?

There's something called Honey Jum that's marked as used in tradeskills.
Maybe that's what's needed?

Seems there is an actual item called zombie flesh that isn't dropping. Also the recipe isn't dropping either.

Zombie flesh in Erud's Crossing???

When I was farming zombie skins on Inny, I thought I recalled zombies dropping "Zombie Flesh". I will be heading over there today, so I will hunt them and see if they drop "Zombie Flesh".

Still not enough bone chips to get into Cabilis though
