We should add to this that itemization, specifically level restricted items, further complicates the economic model. Cultural items have probably been hit the hardest due to the fact that if the player waits another 5 or 6 levels, they may be able to purchase superior or equivalent items far cheaper the cultural. Also add the effect of the itemization from new or revamped zones (Veksar, Droga, Nurga, Hate, pocket zones) which often rival POP Tier 1 zones or even surpass it. The competition between items with level restrictions in the range of 45-61 is intense, and then these items have to compete with non LR items of equivalent power which have a wider market.
From a Ranger's perspective, compare the prices and stats of hand slot itemization below which are ranked in "power" from least to highest.
