Nightmare Silks?

Was there a nerf on drops of Nightmare Arachnid Silks? Have been scouring the bazaar, merchants, shouting in various zones offering up to 400pp each, and hunting in PoN for eight weeks now and have not seen a single one!

Not far as I know, I duoed spiders/trees/birds with a druid friend for a while, silks drop bout once in 10 for us, which I understand to be a better than normal rate. RNG playing with you indircetly

Silound: i think youre thinking of the wrong spiders.

Not the yard trash near the zonein/out, but the really tough spiders down past the slarhilugs.

I used to find silks all the time when the spiders there dropped parchements pretty frequently. Since it was nerfed, no one has hunted them at all on my server. :/

Yeah I'm thinking of hte wrong ones, but 1 in 10 is still the drop rate for Nightmare Arachnid Silk. Druid friend has 8 in bank atm

We've hunted every type of spider in zone without seeing a single drop. As you said, it may just be the RNG, but 8 weeks' dry spell not just for me, but seemingly the entire server? I have checked as I mentioned above a couple times each day just about everywhere and with everyone I know, incl other PoN groups. Guess it doesn't matter, gonna keep looking/hunting/shouting in any case. Thanks for the input folks!

You are close to the truth

I was making 8 nightmare compound bows a day on Povar until about 1 1/2 weeks ago then all of a sudden the amount of nightmare bow staffs dried up quite a bit from 15 a day to about 3 a day which then caused people to raise the price of the silk from 75pp to 150pp and beyond per silk and even has people hoarding the silk in their bank vaults. Still the same way.

If its the RNG then it was a change that was done manually.

I too have noticed a lack of first tier supplies in the bazaar.
The culprit is the removal of the flags from some of the planes. Many people abandoned the lower tiers for the experience and loot of the higher tiers. I have also noticed a corresponding increase in the upper tier components like drops of pure rain and metallic liquids.
