Hark! Who is that, prowling along the fields! It is Draggar De'VIr, hands clutching two hardened pitas! He cries gutterally: "In the name of Thor the Mighty, I hereby void your warranty, and send you back to God!!!"

I am proud to report that around 8am pacific time this morning, Guiscard joined his own self-proclaimed 707 club and with his Gnome business partner Gnomedeguree added an 8th mastered skill. They are now masters of their domain.
With a bit of work I hope to get into the 1050 club soon too.
EDIT: I had intended to say, and now am saying, that without EQ Traders, I would have long ago not just given up tradeskills, but EQ as a whole. I never really liked this game until I found fletching, and then when the skill ups got less common in the 150s, and I set myself the goal of getting everythign to master level, this website became my tour guide through each skill's lower levels.
Even last week, when I decided I needed to make a Gnome to make myself soem Cams, I found the database here to be an important tool in the process.
So thanks to all of you who contribute. (And special kudos to Niami and Ngreth, of course, Zeralenn for her awesome smithing guide and Velurian for his mentoring).
And I look forward to gushing thanks again at each rung on the climb upward.

I'm in the 1273 club for tradeskills (I've started my own weird little club), the 2400 club for having all languages maxxed, and my fishing, and alcohol tolerance are also maxxed at 200. [Does that make me a Grandmaster Drunken Fisherman who can slur his perfectly spoken speech in any language? ]
Tradeskills as they currently exist:
Baking -- 199
Tailoring -- 153
Blacksmithing -- 164
Fletching -- 155
Brewing -- 185
Jewelrymaking -- 250 and I have the trophy
Pottery -- 167
You will note that my tailoring is presently my lowest tradeskill. Nevertheless, I still think of myself as a tailor because that was the first tradeskill I took up in earnest.
Well, the idea is more than all levels are above some common threshold, like 101, or above some conceptual threshold, like "the oint at which it gets much harder."
200+200+200+107+0+0+0<>707 club.
Or so I proclaim!

Well then can you look up my Magelo link I provided and check my skills and tell me what my level is currently?
Would really appreciate it and thank you in advance,

now to try to get that **** last Snow Griffon Egg. Can you believe I've already made Royal Velium Ink and some of my Royal Velium Armour and still don't even have Shawl three? ARGH
I gues it's be the 1050 club (all 7 main skills at 150 or higher) and also something like the 1250 club (all 7>150 + tinkering>200).
But again, this is just my personal pronouncements.

Speaking partly tongue-in-cheek, but I was thinking about all these different ways of counting skill levels - and particularly how if you are interested in comparing your skill to someone else's, you need to know exactly what they are counting as well.
I think I have come up with an easy way to do this .
I think some sort of designation after a score would be the easiest way to differentiate who is including which skills.
The Core 7 (baking, brewing, fletching, jewelcraft, pottery, smithing, tailoring) are automatically assumed...so a skill count with nothing after it is only looking at these 7. The max score with this would be the 1750 club.
If you add on fishing, just put an (f) after your score. e.g. 1350(f) would denote a skill count of 1350 in the Core 7 plus Fishing. Max score here would be +200 to the core score.
Alchemy would become (a). Max score here would be +200 to the core score.
Poisonmaking would be (p). Max score here would be +200 to the core score.
Tinkering would be (t). I think the max for tinkering is 250, so max score here would be +250 to the core score.
Research would be (r). Once again, +200 to the core score to get the max.
Feel free to come up with other designators if you are interested, but I think this covers all the ones generally considered to be "trade"-type skills.
In this context, since I am a human bard and can't do Alchemy, Poison, Tinkering, or Research, I could list my score as 1262 if I only look at the Core 7, or 1462(f) if I add in fishing.
A gnomish rogue on the other hand could list:
xxxx
xxxx(f)
xxxx(p)
xxxx(t)
xxxx(fp)
xxxx(ft)
xxxx(pt)
xxxx(fpt)
And use the designators to point out exactly which skills he is showing off...making at least a little easier to compare relative levels of skill.
Now, I know this system does not make it easy to convert from one type to another since it doesn't show anything about exact skill in each "add-on" skill, but I think it makes more sense than typeing out 1262(f)200 to show 1262 score in the Core 7 and 200 in fishing.
Just some random ruminations on the subject of different "skill clubs". Feel free to dissect my idea, ignore it, belittle it, improve it, adopt it, etc...just wanted to provoke some more thought .

trade-related is foraging. Admittedly, combines don't use it, but it is a good precursor skill for many trades.
It also happens to be one of me few maxed skills.
since "f" for fishign is taken, can we get a "g" for foraging?

I like to follow the moto of my favorite organization: "Be all you can be".
Thus the numbers just don't work. A class that can't do a given skill or two could never have the numbers a class that has those skills can reach. Thus we are comparing apples and oranges. Also, if we want to consider 'all' skills, some can be raised with AA points at higher levels--thus a lower level of the same class can not have those numbers.
I say, if there is to be a "club" let it be a club of those that strive to do the best they can with what they have to achieve the goal they have in playing the game. I want to max all my stats and work at having a 'quality' character. A player that feels no need except to max his or her 2hb is fine with me. That may be all they need in order to do what they want to do in the game--I'm not going to put them down. It is just not good enough for what I want for my character, so I will keep working.
yay. finally uped jc to 100 for the 700 club. pottery at 122 and tailor at 124 but everything else is over 150 already.
