I put my deluxe sewing kit in the shared slot and fill it with my gearlocks and collapsible items. That way all of my characters have access to the tradeskill enhancing items.

Bah! Little gnomes and their monopoly on tinkering. Always to busy tinkering the next best thing. They never have time to get punted any more.I'm sure the gnomes will love to hear that.

Another thing I personally like is that I can Imbue stuff on one character, Enchant with another, and have a third use them, all without external help.
Also, reaching for stuff between your mule(s) and your other characters is fantastic. Or, how about you have something for sale on your mule and meet someone near a bank, far away from the Bazaar who wants to buy that? You can just jump to your mule, put it in the bags, and log back to your main to sell it to the other person.
I love it!

Nice place to keep my bag of Resist Gear...
Now I don't need to buy Velium-Diamond Rings, a Froggy Crown & a Gold-Diamond Mask for each of my characters.
Plus, I can transfer around my Bracelet of Sense when my Paladin or Shamaness is doing Tradeskills.

Totally off the wall here, but I would figure that tradeskillers would get this one right and I see it mistated like CRAZY on these boards...
You DO NOT have Deluxe Sewing Kits... Unless you are one of the rare few who have one from bygone days when they actually existed, what you actually have is a Large Sewing Kit. Count the slots. 8 slots? Large Kit. If you actually have a 10 slot, which I highly doubt, then you don't have a Deluxe Kit...

/nod I've had my +/- 20 deluxe kits since I realized that I could get them for cheap I filled up all my characters with them. Ten slots all.
I have to say, the two new slots have been a boon to my tradeskilling. I'm making each of my girls learn a tradeskill up to 200+ and doing a different skill for each character. So, while making items from one skill that's used as a subcombine in another, it goes into the shared bags. It saves time and effort in the long run. My baker returns her finished combines to the bags and no one has to by food on my account now. I am SOOOOOOO happy!

I too have a deluxe Sewing kit in my shared bank.
And yes, I have about 8 of them spread over 5 characters. My druid has three!
Otherwise, the characters I have that actually KEEP stuff in their banks have Deluxe Tool kits. *shrug*
There are a LOT LOT LOT of tradeskillers that have 10 slot sewing kits. I'd suggest you take people on this board at their word. We've been at this for a LONG time.Balkin Ironfist (Ominous Deeds)

Back in the day when they weighed only 0.4, they were very popular for carrying stuff around. When their weight was increased, many people kept using them as bank containers due to their capacity.Originally posted by BalkinThere are a LOT LOT LOT of tradeskillers that have 10 slot sewing kits.
