A smithing charm.

Stats increase with your skill in blacksmithing.
I know soe wants us to buy loy. They could make the charm no drop and one of the components a no drop item in loy. Could do it for every tradeskill would be a nice reward for all are hard work

I doubtfull this would ever happen but maybe someone in soe will read this and agree with me.

I'd just like to see 1 working charm of any type. Once they get that working, then I'd like to see charms that can be made by a smith so that anyone wearing the charm would see it improve with every item they wear made by the smith who made the charm. They alluded to this when they were hyping the charms before LoY, but I don't see how they can do this without revamping the whole item database to record who made what item.

I don't know about a charm that increases in stats just because your smithing skill increases. The reward for increasing your smithing skill is the skill itself. A charm that improved with each skill over 200 (or maybe with each skill at 250) would be a more appropriate reward. The charm would double its stats with each skill GM'd.

Thought they would ba a major reason to buy LoY.
Thought they would drop in all zones.
Thought they would be tradeable (as almost items from other expansions are)

Nope.

Only in LoY zones, only no drop, rare as heck, more than one is BROKEN, and the few that are useful are camped heavily.

When wishing for charms... I just wish I had one. Heck I'd take a broken one so I could at least USE the inventory slot I paid for. (Lucky for me I love the new spells, zones, and maps.)

But it is odd that this is the ONE slot that tradeskills of one kind or another can't manufacture an item for...
