  • LoY armor dyes color chart?

Maybe I'm blind but I have looked around on this site and did a search on Google with no result.

Is there some page with examples of how diff colors look when armor slots are dyed? (Preferably pics of dyed armor)

No such thing. The LoY dyes are not a color replacement. They are a tint. The interact slightly with the original color of the armor that is in that slot. So even though you may dye a slot pure red, it will be a different shade of red with different armors there.

The good news is that you get to see the armor before you accept it and spend your dyes.

One piece of advice. When you test your colors, the local lighting is used. It's best to be someplace well lit. Otherwise you end up with a halfling with overly bright feet. ( I tried to make them match my green armor.)

Considering theres somewhere in the region of 12 - 15 million combinations (I know some arent allowed so its definately less than 16million) a colour chart would be prety bamn big if there was one...

There are some useful tools out there though. If you like the natural color of a particular piece of armor, you can find out the RGB code to duplicate it for yourself by looking in Lucy. Find the item via the Item Search and look for the Color (RGB) box for the values. It also has a Tint box that gives an actual sample of the color. As folks have said, the same color can look different on different types of armor, particularly robes, but it gives you an idea.

There are also a variety of websites that let you choose a color from a palette or dink around with sliders and tell you what the RGB is. Most are aimed at web designers but if you ignore the extra frills they serve our purpose just as well. Some examples:
                Color Picker/RBG to Hex Converter
                Color Picker II
                VisiBone Webmaster's Color Lab
or my old, favorite tool from my very first web design efforts:
Netscape (6x6x6) Color Palette Map (use the Decimal box)
