  • What then?

Since I am a Warrior, after I GM all trade skills, it is my understanding that I will not need my Wisdom suit anymore.
    Is this correct?
Since I only needed Wisdom for skill ups.
Does that mean I can sell it so I can free up all those bank slots and recupe some moneys?

    Yup, that's what it means.

Or you can keep it all and wear it anyway like some people. But that's really just superstition.

As long as you have reached the skill level that you wanted to reach. And have no desire to ever do any other tradeskills. Then sure, sell of the "junk", get some of the plat back and the bank space.

What happens if you still want to make items for others or yourself?
Won't you need the gear to be more sucessful in making the final product?
Even at a 250 I do fail attempts at things that are trivial, and if it was an expensive item, 250 trivial, wouldn't you want the wis gear just in case?
I am a caster, so I will always have my gear.

From Stats and Tradeskills in the FAQ forum:
Stats have no impact on your chance of success or failure when practicing tradeskills. (Only your current skill is supposed to impact your chances of success or failure when creating an item.)
So as far as items go, the only way to improve your chance of success is to get items that have skill modifiers on them, like geerloks or trophies. And as modified skill is hard capped at 252, someone with 250 skill will get only limited benefit from modifiers.
