    Frizznik's Wheel O Clay

    and

    Frizznik's Mana Mania

Maybe we can make our own magic clay and mana vials now?

I'd LOVE to summon a whole stack of vials at once. Unfortunatelly, I dont have a 5k mana pool.

      These spells scare me.

Looks like Frizznik is working on making multiple enchant spells. I don't think I even have 5000mana at level 65 though.

          GM spells

Well.... I would say that these are GM-only spells (like the acting buff spells, used for GM events and NPC buffing) ...

But GMs don't need spells to summon items.

They simply spawn the lewt elf in Sunset Home.

          (not a joke, don't ask, I won't explain)

It's a joke, like the mega death spells.
In My (Not Always) Humble Opinion, except where I quote someone. If I don't know I say so.
I suck at this game, your mileage WILL vary. My path is probably NON-optimal.

Did anyone else notice the reagents for the Mana Mania spell?

            Ruby x 20, Ruby x 20, Poison Vial x 10
            /boggle

Sounds to me like it could be producing TEN final mana vials, which would make a LOT more sense, given the casting cost.

4 Rubies are used to make a single vial of Purified Mana.

Yeah, I wondered about that too, but my hunch was the 10 poison vials would eventually override. Or maybe this is just their first-pass test attempt to see if the concept works, and later they'll adjust it to "real" quantities for producing full stacks (or whatever quantity they're shooting for). I dunno. I DO know that anything that reduces the tedium and repetetiveness of enchanting materials is a happy thing.

I have a weird feeling that things like this are gonna be effects on high-end tinkered items... dunno why, just a hunch

Did a little less than scientific research.

Using http://www.eqrankings.com/ as a basis of information only 307 of 1154 level 65 enchanters listed surpass 5000 mana.

I doubt that's an entirely accurate cross section of all players in EQ but it will point out how many players will be able to use that spell.

Personally, I'd much prefer spells for the lower mana vials. After all, how often do you actually need *10* purified mana? Distilled, yes; Clear, yes; but Purified? no

I have been advocating that for a while.

Any time you try to make a trophy I'd say.

You need *one* purified mana per attempt at a trophy. They are not regularly skill-up items.
If you feel you need to amass ingredients for 10 attempts at a trophy, perhaps you'd be better off skilling up farther before attempting your trophy :?:
