having so much fun with tradeskills i can't decide which i want to take to 250 (before i am high enough lvl to 250 em all) ...

thought about inching em all up slowly and just do that till one of them breaks the 200 barrier ... but would rather do one that is actually able to make a small profit later on

so i am leaning towards tailoring or smithing ... would say jewelcraft .. but not an enchanter so would have a roadblock at the profit end...

    250 Fishing > All!!

Ok, in all seriousness, do what you love. You may want to go down the road that makes the most profit, but it wont make you happy. Youll be sitting there going "UG! Im sick of this, undercuters everywhere, market is drying up left and right!". So just do what you love.

I agree. Do what you find fun. After all, this is a game and we’re here to have fun. And who knows, even if the skill doesn’t have a lot of moneymaking potential right now Sony may add new items to it later on. And if not your still having fun. Plus, later on, you can spend 3 AA points and take another skill to 250. So work on all your trade skills and stick with the one you enjoy the most.

Tailoring, Smithing, Baking, Pottery, Brewing are the best money makers. Jewlery leave to enchanters since you will need one to enchant the metals anyway or for PoP stuff enchant the vials of mana. Fletching unless you in the Elemential Planes = no pp really.

Do what ever one you enjoy the most. If you enjoy it you will stick with it.

heh what i enjoy the most so far is finding and collecting the items needed to make the stuff ... ... either being in a certain zone foraging while i kill other stuff or help someone out ... or seeing how many quality pelts and silks i can get in an afternoon...

about the only thing i don't do is sharpen rusty weapons to turn into ore less it is a larger weapon that will make a few good peices.

You can make a few thousand a week, or maybe 5 to 7k, even in mature markets with brewing and smithing if you devote an evening or two a week to doing combines -- and have LOTS of mule space to store it all, with a mule left up overnight and whenever you're away from the game, to do your selling.

It's real money, and it will add up over time in a noticeable way, but not huge money. Then again, brewing and baking don't take enormous time and plat investments, so you can't expect to make a fortune. Spend a little, make a little -- both will be fine for you, most likely. And you can even use those profits to do the more expensive skills -- or at least help to do them.

i think i might go with the sub combines for other skills .. and sell those items ... will help me raise up more pp to fund the skill ups more .. and help out a few others as well that are to lazy or dont have enough time to do all the combines on multi step items...

You're a druid, so vendor mine around like crazy. Buy pelts and silks and turn them into leather padding, which sells very well generally. Buy zombie skins other applicable pelts and sell them to potters. Celestial essence can often sell for 5pp and only cost 1.5 to make about; that adds up pretty darn fast. Imbue some gems. Sell silk swatches. Get your baking to 135 or so in a day and sell fishrolls.

fish rolls sell for squat on my server .. heh halas meat pies are selling for about 2pp a peice ... and those people still have 600+ of them that they are trying to sell ..

as for the vendor farming i do that already =) for pelts, silks, skins, foraged items ... and the rare gem that sells for more ...
