Why did YOU choose to GM in the tradeskill you did?

You keep saying that, but there is very little support for any promise.

Ms. Denmom has said on multiple occasions that 1 devoloper at 1 time said it might be interesting or some such. It was never ever promised or even hinted that it was coming...

If I am wrong, find a quote, add it to your signature (with a link). Make a shirt that says "We will never forget these words!" followed by the quote. Then make signs and go to SOE Headquarters, I'll drive.

Until then, please stop saying it was promised to you, as it starts rumors, and gets people upset.

You stole my thunder! I did the same thing, I had a try at all the tradeskills, got most to 100+, then just did what I liked to do (much like specialization) and let one emerge. Baking won, probably because of my time spent in JP for Griff/Anaconda meat, Basilisk eggs, Plant Shoots, etc.

I'll eventually have a try at them all, but I think Brewing will be my next Gotta love that store-bought Mino brew...

I was a young cleric when I started smithing and someday, I wanted to make Underfoot Plate armour because it was SOOO GOOD! Now that I've leveled, got into a great guild, pounded smithing skill to 250, I haven't made one piece of Underfoot (Now I look at it and think, "I can't believe I ever thought this was so wonderful) and have no plans to ever except to sell in bazaar to fund my other tradeskills.

I didn't really, intentionally pick anything. One night I was making Cheesy Griffon Casseroles after a particularly good day in JP, had plenty of cheese and noddles and decided to finish off the stock I had. I had no idea I was so close, but when I finished, I was 205 in Baking, so that's my "chosen" profession for the first one.
