New Tanaan Mastery AA Points

I am rather confused on how to get over 200 in more than one tradeskill. There are 6 total New Tanaan Mastery AA Points available.

Is this right?: Let's say I'm 250 in Tailoring. I train one aa point and then I can raise my Brewing to 250 (assuming that's the next thing I work on and don't go over 200 in anything else).

Yes, that is exactly correct.

Every point allows 1 additional skill, all 6 points you can GM all 7 skills (1 freebie).

No. You need to get 3 AA points to raise the 1 point of Tanaan and you need 1 Tanaan for you to raise one additional skill above 250. So for you to GM in all tradeskills, you will need 18 (3 times 6 skills) AA points.

That is what I said, every point of NTCM allows one further skill. I was assuming she knew it took 3 AA's for 1 NTCM point.

I believe it says that when you look at your aa's? Thanks for the clarification either way .

One other thing that may need to be clarified. The NTCM isn't for a "particular" skill. Investing in NTCM allows you to take any one of your skills above 200. Once another one of your skills is above 200, the rest are capped at 200.

Yep, so watch out you don't raise the wrong skill by accident if you have multiples at 200. Then you'll be in the hole for another three points.
