Reagents??

Not a true tradeskill question, but I clicked on dye button on inventory screen and found a sweet color for my chest slot. It says 1 reagent required, but I hae no idea what reagent I need nor what I do with it when I get it.

Can anyone help, I am obviously a dull knife :?

Armor Dyes
dye tints are applied to the player's armor slot (not directly to the armor) by use of the "dye" button on your inventory screen. This is the point at which you select the color, with no need for making different shades of dyes, etc

dye vial unfired vial (vendor-sold) - fire in kiln with quality firing sheet 54

prismatic dye prism shard (vendor-sold), glaze lacquer - combine in brew barrel using brewing skill, or combine in a medicine bag using alchemy skill 54

vial of prismatic dye prismatic dye, dye vial - combine in brew barrel using brewing skill, or combine in a medicine bag using alchemy skill 68

All the items you need to make the dye are sold on the same female vendor, at the top of her pack, in the lighthouse in the LoY expansion. At best price it should cost 30pp for a vial of dye if you don’t fail any of the combines. You can often find them for sale in the bazaar. The last time I checked the standard price on Seventh Hammer was 50pp each.
