I've had the forage command tied to my right turn arrow for a long time and this allows me to do a lot of foraging. I also have been intentionally hanging around Lesser Faydark, foraging for Sylvan Berries and Morning Dew, and making sure I hit the right arrow as soon as the forage became available.
I played early this morning for the first time since yesterday's maintenance, and suddenly, I was getting a message saying something to the effect of "It is too soon for you to forage again" even though the button had de-pressed.
However, I had to wait just as long to forage again as if it had done a forage. So effectively, I was foraging half as frequently, which made me glum as I make a good living foraging up stuff and selling the bazaar. I ended up trying to pay attention to when the button became available and then I would spin to the left three revolutions before clicking. This seemed to add enough delay so I didn't get the message, but it meant that when I was not actively foraging, I would often accidentally got right and get the message because I was not micro-managing.
Is this a "fix" they inserted during the maintenance? Is it something that was supposed to happen to me before but never did? Is there a way to make it stop?
The only difference I can see is that I defeat Ivie Bramblefoot this morning and had the Sylvani Berries in my possession. I highly doubt this would cause my foraging to slow down, but you never know.
