Frost Crystals

I've been reading EQTraders now for 8 hours and have only found that frost crystals are foraged and you cannot eat them. Has anyone found any other uses for them or are they just merchant fodder :?: Foraged in DL and Everfrost.

Nope, in all the time I've foraged them they have found no known use. I don't even remember them being able to be sold so that is either new or my bad memory. Maybe one day SONY will come up with something for them like they did with the Earth/Fire/Wind/Ice Crystals in SF for Bard Human armor but who knows.

They can be combined with a Purification Tablet in a Tracker's Water Extractor to make Purified Water.

I thought purified water was one (or 2?) celestial essence with a flask of water (or 2?) in a brew barrel.
Or is the frost crystal just another method?

Vanidor has been amazing at figuring out a bunch of these Kunark quests that most folks have forgotten about long ago.
