  • FAQ tidbit on success rates

Based on the formula in the FAQ section for success rates, it looks like there is no practical value in having more than 233+5% or 244+0%. Might want to spread the word on this for those folks madly working on 250+5% before doing tough combines. The 95% rate on near-trivial items seems to hold up for the 6th shawls I've done, btw. I'm at 193+5%, it's not trivial yet, and I've not failed on 6 combines so far. Not sufficient sample for statistics, but it feels good.

Not true, that is assuming that 250 is the max trivial there...

There are quite a few things that likely trivial well over 300, because a GM has a 50% chance approx. of failure. (or a 50% chance of success for you optimists)

So you'll want to get to at least 240+5%, but that 250+5% looks a whole lot nicer when you press 'skills'
