  • New recipe for Easter

Egg (has worked with snake, basalisk and drake so far)
    1-3 LoY dyes
    flask of water
    pot
in oven (wont work in a normal or collapsable spit though)

result = Easter Egg (1 dye), Colorful Easter Egg (2 dye) or Very Colorful Easter Egg (3 dye)
magic (they are not lore or no-drop but do not stack)
    weight 0.1
    snack

    Effects:
Easter Egg - summon bunny (summons a level 1 rabbit)
Colorful Easter Egg - summon rabbit (summons a level 5 rabbit)
Very Colorful Easter Egg - summon hare (summons a level 10 rabbit)
About 1 out of ever 5 of these eggs will summon a cockatrice instead of a rabbit - seems to be the level 30ish ones from DL

I'm not sure what skill doing the eggs is based off of though - I'm a GM baker with trophy and didn't fail any, however, my brother and a buddy both made them with no failures as well - my buddy is a 220ish brewer but my brother doesn't have a single tradeskill over 50.

I got the recipe off of a snow bunny in EW.

    Just kidding - HAPPY EASTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He had me until he started talking about summoning animals i.e. pets. Then I knew he was joking. The only all/all item I know of (not to say there aren't more, I just don't know about them) that summons a pet, is the one from upper guk. Summons a level 12 mage pet, and it's rare as heck, with 1 charge. Sony doesn't like giving anyone pets other than pet classes. Especially a level 30 cockatrice. I would so love one of these. I'd have stacks and stacks of dye and eggs on me. Dump them into the collapsable spit and viola...instant double damage. A warrior with bind wounds, decent hp regen, and one of the 100 hp heal BPs would be nice to play with that pet.

I thought there was a weapon that summoned the lvl 34 shammy pet... it was a Blackburrow quest if I remember it right.

Was a Ranger-only weapon... and I thought it was a Vox Drop before it was nerfed.

Scimitar of the Mistwalker is what I think Angelsyn was referring to.

LOL - you're working under the principle that Sony has applied common sense, reason and logic to all of it's previous descisions to the game.

                        You know, stuff like -

One 5 pound pelt weighs the same as a stack of twenty
You can stuff your face with bread and water yet get the benefits of apparently just carrying around a steak and some gator aid
You can stack 20 wedding cakes one on top of another and then fit 10 of these stacks in a good sized backpack and then take out single wedding cakes which are totally and utterly intact
A NPC can tell that your high elf with the troll illusion worships a good god and must be killed but for the longest time couldn't figure out that the earth elemental making armor at the forge also worshipped a good god and probobly shouldn't be killed
A NPC won't sell to a dark elf but is perfectly happy to sell to a chair

You're right, Easter Eggs that summon rabbits make no sense at all when applied to these standards.
