trophy/ammo slot question

I finally made my trophy last night (baking) and equipped it in the ammo slot. The problem is that I didn't recieve any of the stats for the item. Is this true of anything placed in the ammo slot or maybe a bug?

Yes. The ammo slot is completely broken for stats and modifiers.

Just to clarify, it's not "broken" per se, it's working fine. You're not supposed to get stats from items in the ammo slot, so it's not something for which we can be looking for a fix.

A good way to test this is if anyone had a trophie that could try some of the skill restricted combines. For instance you need a adjusted skill lvl of 220 to attempt Ethereal Silk Swatches. So if someone has a trophie and a skill of less than 220 then they could simply put the trophie in the ammo slot and try an attempt. The results are your answer.

ooh, I'd been wondering about that Sitahn ... now I just need to get me an Ethereal Temper to try it (skill 215atm) :P

I suppose "broken" would mean that they make items go in the ammo slot that aren't ammo, so the expectation is that the stats attached to those items should be in effect. So if anything is broken, it's their implementation of items that go in the Ammo slot.

I heard somewhere that you get the modifiers in the ammo slot, just not stats...anyway can hope...
