  • AA New Tanaan question

I have run 3 already and am starting to get near my 4th AA point. If I save up 3 and use them for New Tanaan Crafting Mastery does that count towards my Baron title and 6 points spent to open up the next level of AA's? I eventually want to get a few of my tradeskills over 200 and none of the other AA's look all that appealing to me right now.

I am pretty sure the answer is no to both situations.

I knew someone who had 51aa (some being POP aa) and did not yet have their 3rd title. I beleive it requires less than 48 for the third title.

Also, if you read the AA sections specifically for the next level up it says you must have 6 AA in General before you can put any into the Archytpe. POP AA do not count as General in this situation.

the answer is yes, it counts for both. my 4th, 5th and 6th aa points went into the new tannan skill; i got my title, and the ability to put points into my archtype aa skills.

Zzaris, you may be confused. It does take 48 AAs to get your 3rd title but it has to be going to the next higher AA level. If you spend 100 AAs but they are all in General you don't get the highest title.

Also on titles you can have the points banked but not spent and you will not get the title.

I have used one point in wisdom (no snide remarks I did not know any better )
I have used the next 3 in Tannan AA
                I have 2 points banked

I have no title but have 6 points gained.

You must spend them to get the title dang I need to go grind out one more so i can GM another skill COME ON 3rd Trophy.

PoP AA does not count towards titles, that is true. However, NTCM is not a PoP AA. Even though it was gained in the PoP expansion, it is located in General.

NTCM does count towards the Baron title.

Here are the requirements for titles:

6 AA in General for Baron/Baroness.

12 AA in Archetype (minimum 18 total) for the Archetype title (varies by class and gender). Note that if you spend 18 points in General you won't get the Archetype title. Also, points spent in the PoP Archetype (or PoP Class) section do not count towards this total.

24 AA in class (minimum 42 total) for the Class title (varies by class and gender).

I have 120 AA points on Quesci and she does not have her Class title yet. She is Mistress Quesci and will remain Mistress Quesci until I no longer have anything else to spend points on outside of the Class area. Sage Quesci just sounds boring, not to mention the fact that Necromancers get Sage as their Archetype title and I wouldn't want to confuse people...

Quesci has spent:[list][*]15 points in General (6 base + 9 NTCM)[*]48 points in Archetype <-- Mistress[*]23 points in class[*]8 points in Planar Advancement[*]26 points in Class Planar Advancement[/list:u]

I gotta agree with Quesci on that one, I mean Necro's get to be Sage's with 18 points spent (or there abouts), and that isn't anything special for them.

To get the final title of "Sage" wizards/enchanters/mages have to spend a whole lot more points, and by then the Necro is now a Lich, having upgraded from our final title.

For Shaman Elder is perfect, it seems like a wise well.. tribal shaman, I'd call them "The Elders" or some such, not sure if that translates as well to druids, but at least no one gets to be an elder for cheaper, and upgrade to something better.

From an older post in the OOC section AA Titals. That should let people know who get's what title when.

And on a personal note about people not liking title names and such. All Ranger from level 60 to 64 are called Warder, the same thing a level 9 Beast Lord can summon and use as his little b****! I have never thought that is fare.
