Gratz on GM Baking with GMT!
As far as what tradeskill to GM next in? Well, that is up to you but Brewing is usually the next one people do. Cheap, easy, fast (If your wrist can hold up that long) and you can make 2 - 3 items for profit once done. Qeynos Afternoon Tea, (The drink formally known as) Grobb liquesced Meats, and Demi-Sec champaign for the Earring quest.
If Brewing is not your skill, JK might be good, if you are lucky you can get to 250 on under 2kpp. Then you can try and make Valor Rings and such if you can get the items for them.
That's what I would suggest, hope it helps.

If you're going for 1750, I would suggest you work on either tailoring or smithing as well as another skill. Farm your socks off for tailoring or smithing and then when you're sick of it, treat yourself to 10 skill ups in brewing. Fletching at low levels is super cheap too.

      Just a thought.

The cupcake is DONE! 1750!!! And 7 Trophies! And a fishing pole! That summons beer! Woo! And Tarteene, the enchanting gnomish tinkerer of the 247th bolt and one neato Tinkering Trophy

Fletching at high levels is super cheap *IF* you farm all your own components.

Well, it looks like your already past the easy combines on tailoring, but you could work your smithing up to 155 without a large expenditure of cash if you farm your materials and then start work on fine steel plate to 188. Brewing, as stated, is easy to get to 200 and very cheap. And if you’ve survived Halas Pies and Misty Picnics you can handle Hero Brew. Since the nerf, pottery can be a pain to raise to 200, but the cost per combine for casserole dishes isn’t bad.

What I usually do is work on one skill until I start getting frustrated with it and then switch to a different one. Of course, if you do that with too many skills you quickly run out of bank space.

Best of luck and congrats on GMing baking.

As a Enchanter with best prices, you can nearly break even skilling up to 250 in JC. If you enchant all metals, you make a gain of about 5% compared to the raw materials. If you use the recipe, that is nearest trivial, you have only little over 5% fails.

This is very time consuming, but cost effective.

if you are looking to just get to 200 inyour next skill, I say, go to Surefall and sit in front of vendor and make arrows and sell back til you are 200, was easy as brewing, but only 4 things to combine

** I didnt say what skill I was talking about ops:

Ahhh ) Well that may be true, but only if you are an enchanter or have a VERY good friend that you can get to enchant all those hundreds of bars of metal. Also that is only if the RNG is Very good to you and you fall into the 5% failure rate, which as we know very seldom actually happens. I think that Jewelcraft was designed for enchanters. 8) I knew when I got into JC as a Wizard that it was going to be expensive, but was willing to take my time as I wanted to make some good jewelry for my guildmates. Well I am there now. Just wanted to let everyone new out there know that if you are not an enchanter that JC will cost you thousands of plat to master.

Jewlcraft is about the only trade skills I’ve never even tried. I don’t play an enchanter so I assumed it was more or less pointless. Even if I spent the money to reach 200 skill, or even 250 with the AA ability, then I would still have to seek out an enchanter every time I wanted to make something. That seems like a little bit too much dependency for that amount of investment.

Jewelrycraft for non-enchanters is good for 2 things
                        1) To get to 190+ for Coldain Shawl Quests
                        2) To get to 250 for PoP jewelry combines

And good for failing less on trivial combines that can wind up being super expensive, like mounting gems for pottery(star ruby encrusted steins for one -- 68pp each at vendor and a significant failure rate at 200 JC) and mounting gems for the tradeskill trophies (five failures on black sapphires in a row lost me 3500 plat in about half a minute at 200 JC).

You might feel more secure doing your own combines once you get certain components enchanted by someone than just handing over all your most precious items to someone in a bundle, too. P.S. -- sometimes people claiming to be 250 in a skill are lying. They're just figuring there's no loss to them if the combine doesn't work, and they may have a free chance at a skill-up by trying, and the only person who can lose -- is you. So they don't care. Just a word to the wise.
