Bat Blood?

    Bat Blood?

    I used to hunt bats a lot a few months ago at the SolA zoneline in SolB, so I have killed quite a few (hundred) of them...

    Yesterday I happened to go back there for something... and being bored I killed a few bats, old habits die hard.

    The second bat dropped a no drop Bat Blood.

    This has never dropped before to my knowledge, but may have been added with LoY.

    I checked LoY brewing recipes, and all types of other recipes, and nothing.

    I checked quest websites, also nothing listed, Alakhazam etc. does not even have a listing for bat blood.

    Then I searched this messageboard, and no one has ever said 'bat blood', a few posts have both terms, but none are bat blood.

    So is this a lowbie quest and all bats now drop it, or is it a lvl 40+ bat drop only that may be used for something?


    P.S. Put in general because it could be brewing/alchemy/poison making, or even smithing/tailoring temper.

      Well, back in the day, I used to hunt those bats, and I never recall seeing a NO DROP Bat Blood.

      Must be something realitvely new.

        I seem to remember that sonic bat meat is used to faction up with trolls in Neriak. Perhaps blood is used to faction up with Teir'dal?

          Other No Drop Bloods?

          Along the same lines of the Bat Blood (which I haven't seen yet) I found a No Drop "Halfling" Blood" in LoY, I am pretty sure from the Mines area. Are there any other new bloods in game?

            Double checked name, and it is bat blood, no drop, stackable... I don't think I have other stackable no drop items, hehe.

            No reference to it anywhere in the game that I have seen... and no one here seems to be aware of it.

            Guess I'll be keeping it, and wondering.

              I'm with Morgrist on this one.

              Have you spoken to the troll in Nek Forest near the Neriak entrance or tried handing him the blood?
              Itzena Alhazared, Revenant of {Planeteers}, Vallon Zek. And also a seamstress.
