  • Tradeskill Mouse

I hope that someone can help me locate a certain piece of computer hardware.

I while back I saw a post on a message board somewhere that talked about a special mouse that can be used with EQ to simplify repetetive actions. They had a picture of it. It looked like a normal mouse with a small key pad attached.

I have been looking everywhere for this progamable mouse.

Before someone flames me about "macroing" or "cheating" , let me just say that I'm not looking for somthing that does that. I love to do trade skills, but I have a degenerative disorder in my wrists that the repetive clicking is very hard on.

SOE does allow the use of this mouse, in fact, there was a post to that effect in the thread I saw before. I just wish I could find it again. )

If anyone has a clue as to what this mouse is called, please post here.

    Thanks

    Rack

I'd like to see this too..

I'd like to see this too.

Mind you, I don't have a degenerative disease in my wrists, but I don't think that the challenge of tradeskills should be finding the items, having the money to invest with, and NOT repetative boring click-here-then-click-there tediousness... if that even is a word

Example : Silk Swatches, Metal Bits, Studs. (I'd still make the armor/item manually though)

Feel free to flame me tho, I have perfectly healthy wrists

There is still a skill check in your example combines - even at 250, you will still fail from time to time.

The combine that I think should be eliminated - celestial essence (and any other no-fail combine). There's no point other than time sink and cash sink. I don't mind either - but please don't make my wrist suffer as well.

I don't think the Nostromo can get you banned. I use one, it fits my hand well so is more comfortable then hovering over the numpad on the keyboard. 10 keys, each mapped to the corresponding hotkeys. also a four button thingy, I mapped one to S(it) and another to B(ook); I also mapped one to /assist. It DOES NOT do the 'pick an item up, move it here, click again' bit, it simply has keys that can be programmed with socials.

Not exactly on topic but I enjoyed find the Nostromo. Just ordered a used x-keys and am saving for http://www.dynadirect.com/kb-gvamodel682.html These won't automate the game, just do hotkey things from what I understand. Haven't read the manual completely yet.

I have used Logitech mice for forever and a day and find them comfortable but when Brewing hit 188 and I had to move into Mino's THEN I knew what wrist pain was. Mapping my thumb button to CTRL helped for my left hand but oy does my right wrist still hurt and Im only at 194.
