    Cracked Ornamental Epaulet

I am trying to find out if this item is for anything or just a vendor item. No one seems to know, so figured I would check here.

If any one knows if this is for a trade skill, Post if U can.

    Thanks

Droped in PoA at Zone in area. Off one of those mobs that split, into smaller ones.

it has Class: None, Race: None.

Makes me think it is possibly a trade skill Item .Guess Ihang on to it for a while.

Only one we seem to have gotten.

It's not tradeskill-related. It is for one of the Plane of Sky quests, although I can't remember which one. I think it was one of the rogue quests. If you have someone who plans to finish a quest in Sky anyway, have them hail the rest of the NPCs in the hall and one of them should mention this drop.

I looked at all the plane of sky quests I could find and didn't see anything resembling a "Cracked Ornamental Epaulet". Is that the exact name of the item, and does anyone have a link to the quest it's used in? I'm just curious, I hate to do a search on something and come up empty handed. :P

I would assume that Kinafe really did mean Plane of Air, not Sky. None of the fairies on the first island split when killed.

              Cracked Ornamental Epaulet is name.

              Wt 8.0 Size Large
              Class none

Drops in Plane of Air (PoP) drops from "A Castellan of Air" right at zone in area.

It's just one of the many many unstackable rare drop tradeables all elemental planes drop got no apparent reason. It's 'probably' just vendor loot (like Ruby Crown), but there's a distant possibility it's for some as yet undiscovered quest (like Battle Worn Trinket in Tactics).

Ok, I thought plane of air first, yet got confused when someone said plane of sky quests.
