Imbue Diamond for shaman?

OK, I made a froglok Shaman when LoY came out. I prepared for him for several weeks. I stockpiled an entire mule full of bags, gear, and spells for him. I ran out of room at the level 29 spells, but since Frogloks are devout followers of Mithaniel Marr, I bought Imbue Diamond for him, assuming it would be flagged SHM when LoY went live.

It's still sitting in my bank, gathering dust and only flagged CLR. Meanwhile being the chosen of The Lightbringer, I have gone off and made level 41. Still can't imbue diamonds though, and it bothers me.

I've sent several messages through several channels to Verant about this. Does anyone know if this has been addressed by the SOE developers for the next patch? And for that matter, when will the next patch be, anyway? I'm tired of not being able to use my folding alchemy bags.

The word, from Test Server, is that Imbueiamond has been changed to include shamans.


As to the next patch date, as of Friday, I havent read anything.

Didn't check much over the weekend, but this next patch sure as heck should be a doozie.

Yes, this one has been addressed for for FRG/SHM, CLR, as well as imbue: sapphire (seems there are some shammies of Innoruuk out there as well, that had been left off the imbue for their deity).

These are ones that I specifically checked on over a week ago, and they should be awaiting a patch to the live servers now.

Wow, they finally fixed the spells? Imbue Sapphire has been broken for Shamans for what, a year or two now. I sure hope they remember to add SHM to the scrolls as well. And stock the scrolls on the appropriate Shaman spell vendors.

Thank you, Niami, for bringing this to Sony's attention! It wasn't the end of the world, but it was a source of minor irritation to me that as a priest of Innoruuk I couldn't imbue my own gems.

Actually, thank Verdandi for reminding me about the imbue: sapphire issue. If she'd not nudged me at the time I was already peeking and poking around due to the imbue: diamond issue, I'd probably have totally forgotten it was still an outstanding issue (which may explain part of why it was still an issue after all this time ;D).

Sort of off topic but I really think Vah Shir Sham's should get an Imbune/Enchant something at 29. Yes, we dont have a god, but they finaly gave us a Portstone that is not for a god, so why not a Imbune and maybe give us something more like cultural armor, Shadowscream is the closest we have and that's a joke. I mean what, am I a Half Elf here or something!?
