How rare are plains roots?

    How rare are plains roots?

    I went to west commons last night for 30 minutes and killed everything that moved(except FP guards) and mined all the merchants.
    I was unable to find any Plains Roots for the tailoring dye.
    I asked several foragers passing thru and they couldn't help. No one had seen any dropped or foraged.
    I thought I would have a lot of competition to get this but the zone was very quite. No more than 8 in zone at a time.
    It wasn't even for sale in the bazaaar. :roll:
    Any advice on aquiring this would be appreciated. :?

    Not rare at all - I usually forage one as soon as I enter the zone and then more after that. Before LoY I usually just ate them to keep them from taking a slot.

    Remember the forages for the robe quests drop off of mobs in the zone. So just start whacking things while you are trying to get folks to forage and you will prolly get some that way too.

        I may be wrong but I believe that I got some of these last night in North karana killing beetles. Ill have to look today and confirm that.

          There is the problem.

          "Plains" roots are found on the plains of the Karana's. I believe they are forage only (never have seen one drop for any of thousands of critters killed) and are pretty easy to get (my 9th level druid gets around one every 20 minutes or so).

              Oops! Never have seen them there before, but get them all the time in the Karana's. Maybe they are just really rare there?

                Thought they were foraged in West Commons. Looks just like a root. At least vendors will buy them
