  • I know that it may sound stupid but ... I need cloth sandals

I am making the quests for monks (silent fists) and for my boots I need cloth sandals .
Not small , not large .
    Only cloth sandals .
The cloth vendors have strangely every possible piece of crap BUT the sandals .
What is looted is small pieces of cloth .
Leather vendors sell sandals but those are leather .

So I am lost - then thought that perhaps cloth sandals (normal) can be made by some tradde skill and came here .

So can you help me where or hoy I can find those **** elusive cloth sandals 7not big , not small , normal) .

    Thanks

    Nope, not tradeskilled.

Just off of low level mobs, I think you'll find them off Ghouls and Walking undead types in Oasis...

Spectre's used to drop them... and that was always fun to tell a newbie to kill one for the cloth sandle... but I think it was taken off their drop table.

The vendors that have all the shoe types should have them. Try North Qeynos, right by the South Qeynos zoneline (near the SQ clock). There is a shoe vendor right near the zone.

Ive had the same problem myself,
They're definitely not tradeskill, but I did find some in Felwithe of all places.
Apparently they are supposed to be common drops but I hacked orcs for 2 weeks without getting anything but small cloth sandles.
COuld be that the quest is buggy.

        :?

          Dirty dead brain cells....

Hmm, I recall buying them off of some NPC in North Ro of all places. She's not in one of the huts, but rather out in the dusty area right when you zone in from West? Freeport. She glowered dubiously at me, but sneak took care of that, eventually.

Every city, as far as I know, has a Just Shoes vendor. They sell cloth sandals, fur lined boots, chain and plate boots, etc. I would check on eqatlas to find your Shoe Vendor.

The cobbler in Ak'anon is probably the easiest to fine, he's right in the main square with the bard, newspaper stand, and cultural forge. A place of honor, as befits such a traditional gnomish occupation.

Now if only we could find the pointy hat maker...

The vendor in North Ro that Loser4Now mentioned is Murissa Sandwhisper, who is standing in the dirt on the left side right before you hit the grass, if you're entering North Ro from East Freeport. She does indeed carry Cloth Sandals. I had to purchase them from her when I was doing the armor quests for my Monk (who is from Freeport, so it was no big deal).

By the way, she's on the same faction as the Dervish Cutthroats. Which means you can't buy from her after camping the Dervs for a while. I think that out of the 8 characters I have, only 3 can buy from her (Camped Dervs with 4 of them, and the other that can't buy from her is an Iksar).

I believe one of the vendors in the easternmost inn in Kithicor is a cobbler as well. It should be the same gentleman who sells forest barley for one of the young monk quests, as well.
