You're right, Loiosh. But, ya know, I'm at work, I was curious, and thought maybe someone would recognize the names, to which I'd add stats later, and maybe someone who knew would be nice enough to clue me in.

I'm removing this on my own, because what it said isn't worthy of all the good folks that make this forum work, which is why I keep coming here everyday.

I know I've seen Stonefruit very recently on vendors in Neriak. With that name I have to wonder if it's new and from Lavastorm?

Yes, its from Lavastorm. I sent my Druid there to hunt for a while, and I had 2 of them drop (one was off a Lavastorm Basilisk, and the other was off a Rock Dervish).

Either they're going to be a tradeskill ingredient, or the info hasn't been added yet, if they're meant to actually be edible. Right now the only thing they're good for is storing in the bank or selling to vendors. (I sold both of them - Needed the cash)

When I identified them, I received the item lore: Used as an alternate food source for the Guja. (Or something very similar to that...I'm not at my EQ computer right now...) I passed the link along to the eqtraders channel, but no one else had any information. My first question would be as to the identity of the Guja...maybe Froglocks??

If anyone has some information to help unravel this mystery...or possibly any other loot from similar zones, we might be able to solve this one.

Not in game atm and I didn't save it but when I was forageing ashweed in Lava the other night I was also killing greens to pass time. On 2 drakes that I killed I got a item I'd never seen before nor had it been seen in my guild.

Riddle of the Troll (part two)

paraphasing because I don't exactly remember it but it said to go to the land of commons and find the beings of light and that another clue would be found when your hunting skills were honed.

Talking in guild the thought was that another riddle would drop off wisps in west commons but I had to log and didn't head that direction. Looked around on Alakazam and didn't find the item or a quest that would go with it.

In response to the riddle drop post, killing wisps in EC lead to another riddle drop. It was a rhyme that referred to Befallen, and someone whose named rhymes with "seek". In Befallen at the enterance there is a halfling named Zeek, and following his quest text he asks for four clues. So, there must be a beginning clue, which leads to another that speaks of drakes in LS, and we know where the other two clues are located. According to the last riddle and Zeek's quest text the reward has something to do with potions, I did a search of the alchemy forum but came up with nothing. So stay on the lookout for other riddle drops, the pattern seems to be that the next riddle drops in a zone close by, such as LS to EC to Befallen.

Today I looted Lizardman Scales and Lizardman Claws (both no drop) off of the Lizards outside CT in the Feerott. Lucy has the Lizardman Claws described as "trophies used by the Guja." These are the only two mentions of Guja I could find.

Possibly related: the Feerott has a new (to me) NPC at -360,-240-- Emissay Shinser, a blue to 33 Lizardman cleric, who cons indifferent to an Ogre beastlord (so not on the two known Feerott lizardman factions).
He does not respond to hails, and does not agro/is not agroed by Bouncers or lizardmen.

The quest starts in Neriak Foreign Quarter with our lovely new residents. When you first enter the Quarter...there is a door located in front of the two ogres (long time tax paying citizens). Through that door is a troll (obviously not on the tax rolls yet) shaman. He tells you about how he fell asleep and the crafty halflings, he thinks, stole the potions that he was supposed to carry to the Shaman Guildmaster. He hands you the first part of the riddle...(roughly)..."Search high, Search LOW, where the second part is...you'll never know".

This would seem to be start and semi finish to this...but I only counted three pieces...the one from the troll, the one from the drake, and the one from the wisp...and you said Zeek asked for 4 clues...missing one...most troubling...

The complete text of the note that the troll hands you is

To the troll that was sleeping in the forest: You have fallen victim to the Pranksters of Bristlebane! We have taken your potions and scattered them across the land. We have, however, created some riddles so you can try to find them. What a fun game this will be! Riddle number 1: Search high, search LOW, where the second clue is, you do not know.

I cannot discern in this any clear reference to Lavastorm, so perhaps the missing link is the clue between this and the Lavastorm drop? On the other hand, the Lavastorm drop was supposedly "part two". Hmm. The starting note is named "Note to Troll", though, not "part one". Hmm again.

Random thought: might "search high" refer to Highpass?

Another possibility: "Search high, search LOW" might refer to Upper and Lower Guk, with the emphasis on LOW.
