Weird Gigantic Fetid Bass <No drop>

Hi guys, I was lately in Cabilis East fishing idling the time away while I fished a GIGANTIC FETID BASS 2.3lb weight, no drop, that left me puzzled, any ideas on this "little" fish? got it after a few hours too, so I was wondering ... anyone knows anything?

Can you try combining it with sea salt?
There's a Cabilis/Kurn's Tower quest that has a cooking subcombine, and that subcombine needs a salted fish.
