small hopperhide patch

picked up these small hopperhide patches in the pit in shar vahl. I tried combine with pattern to no effect. anyone have any idea what they are for? They are not no drop and as of yet have not seen them for sale in the bazaar. I have searched many different web sites so far haven't found anything, any help would be appreciated

have you tried combining with eachother?

Might be like patches of gnoll fur and dire wolf tufts that need to be combined to form something else first...

Put 2, 3, or 4 unstacked in sewing kit and try combining.

If i remember correctly, this is just a useless item that's been here since luclin came out.

I'm pretty sure these are for a newbie quest for one of the various kitten classes, but I forget which or what.
