    Are we missing something?

    I just cant help wondering if we're missing some recipes out there somehow? There are so many tradeskilly sounding items dropping here and there that arent on any drop or quest lists ... stackable large tufts of bear fur, stormwatcher horns... lots of them.

    Anyone have the inside connection at SoE/VI and know if there are recipes in game which arent detailed in any books quest? Are we missing some things - if so how much - and how do we find them!

    There are a number of gems in Luclin that people keep asking are used in Tradeskills...

    Sunstones, Dreamstones... lots of stuff.

    Acrylia Etched Runes...

    These are "Loot drops", like the old Ruby Crown, etc.

      Well, keep in mind that in PoP almost no mob drops coin. For some odd reason, mobs drop "cash items" instead. So, a lot of items that aren't specifically referred to in books are assumed to be tradeskill items.

      Also, it's possible some of these items were intended as tradeskill recipes that never made it live, or Sony is making sure they have drops they can use at a later date. Dire wolf fur wasn't used for anything for a long time, for example.
