Ok, I'm at a loss....

Looted a few of these a few days ago in a group deep in PoN. They would sell for a pretty penny to vendors (upwards of 80 plat each), so I can only think that they have some other relative worth than vendor fodder. Anyone happen to have any info on this item?

Vendor Fodder..... Sony pretty much stopped dropping cash off mobs once Luclin came out (though still a few zones that do) with the revamp of CT players started finding that the only way to earn cash to repay for peridtos or other reagents used they would have o collect the trash that dropped and sell it some worth upwards of 100p a pop. Well it seems Sony saw this worked and stayed with it so now through out all of PoP and alot of he higher end Luclin zones you will find only cash items instead of cash. This is the case with your question, though since it is hard to tell the difference between a cash item and a tradeskill or quest item (if droppable) now a days, it never hurts to ask.

Makes sence to me since autosplit sucks and copper is so dang heavy... would much rather lug around an 8 lb chunk of ore worth 80pp than 60pp 170 gp 280 sp and 200 cp

And of course on the Zeks it means you have less money you risk losing to PK.
