One thing that frustrates a cleric is the lack of a good way to make pps to pay for the items to raise trade skills. At level 63, clerics cannot kite hehe. Drops in POP are the pits for cash frequently. The giants in RM are usually camped or controlled by trackers and kiters. Seblis is often a ghost town. So what's a poor cleric to do?

If you can get a tank, you can duo the guards on the balcony in Seru. They will be light blue/blue, and dont hit all that hard. They drop fine steel, and I was able to make about 500pp in about 2-3 hrs

I know many friends who play 60+ clerics and I can say that they have no complaints about making pp's. It's a matter of which zone and areas that they hunt in for exp groups. Almost always now in the PoP groups I've been in, all the low cost pp items end up going to the cleric. People realize that clerics have to pay for dots and if you can not BoA or Virtue them, then they get upset. If you hunt where decent pp loot is going to drop, you should be able to make decent pp's I would think. This, however, is on E Marr and I don't know how other servers handle their generosity towards clerics.

Well i have found a reeeeellly easy way to make pp at the lower levels and all you need is a few backpacks, some sharpening stones, water flasks, to be in the Neriak Foreign Quarter or Freeport, and a 30 in smithing.
1)In both the foreign quarter and freeport there is a merchant who onever runs out of rusty weapons. Buy about 5 rusty 2handers.SOW would really help here
          2)sharpen them
3)melt them down into large block of ore
4)sell back to an indifferent merchant for about a 4 pp profit
          When life gives you lemons....
          throw them at Halflings.

I wouldn't broadcast that little tidbit too much, we're not supposed to be able to make a profit selling to vendors. If the devs find out about it the nerf bat will be swinging like Barry Bonds.

I'm not really sure what pp per hour would seem good to you. My thoughts to consider -

              1) Keep a trader selling in the bazaar. What ever trade skill you are doing, there is usually something you can do to make back some of the money selling to players. Patience is key.

              2) If Rathe too full and Seb too empty (these would have been my suggestions), it seems to me you want to solo hunt the richest greens you can. Dungeons are normally best for loot. I bet you could solo most of the rooms in Lguk. Pretty good pp an hour if you add in the named loot Adamantite Epauletts etc. (sell in bazaar, not to NPC). If full, try places like Kaesora or Droga, or unrest basement. I'd say the highest dungeon you can solo would make you the most pp per hour.

A similar but non dungeon camp is the Spectres in Feerott (perhaps you can solo Oasis ones too). I'm guessing you could slaughter all 4 every 5-8 minutes. They drop pretty good pp plus Scythes.

Oh and metal hunting. Velium in crystal cavern, and Acylia in DSP and TM. Sold in bazaar. Again try for an hour and see which result is best.

If hunting greens, pp per hour is related to med time. Normal mana stingy rules apply. Keep Kei on. Consider using differernt approaches such as hitting with your weapon and shield(remember that? - hee hee) and using area damage spells. If you have enough hitting you, AE may do more damage per mana.

Paineel Guards (not the Royal Guards or the two newbie zone guards)
No faction hits, very easy to kill and drop a bronze bastard sword + shield every kill which combined sell for about 7 plat.

Some Misty Thicket guards are also quite good, apparently...
Itzena Alhazared, Revenant of {Planeteers}, Vallon Zek. And also a seamstress.
Gelcea Macha, Wandering Animist of Tarew Marr. Will be a smith, one day.

Tenebrous mountains is a good cash loot spot. Aliens drop acrylia and gems. Acrylia and windstones sell in bazaar rest is vendor fodder but the gems sell for 2-90pp depending on the gem. They can drop up to 2-3 bricks or 2-3 gems at times. Also if you can nail the grimling runner rallic(sp) pac which sells for 500-1k in bazaar.

Highland Kobold Camps in Stonebrunt. Very rarely anyone there except trackers looking for Titans. Kobolds are easy to kill, fast to spawn, and drop FS weapons, Cold Iron Armor, and Bamboo Armor. Can make 300pp to 500pp an hour there.

With the amount of gems that I see going to the cleric in all of my groups, I can't imagine a poor cleric. Heck, my brother hasn't done anything more than selling quest gems in the bazaar since he started getting up there as a cleric.

I'm a poor cleric, we're out there. Quite often I leave groups having gone through a few hundred plat on peris and not getting any cash or cash drops back. I think I have more value in my peri bag than I do in plat in the bank.
