There are issues with site editing right now, so I'm just dropping a quick note here from the open night presentation:
Call of the Forsaken is the next EQ expansion. It will go into beta around Aug 14, and is expected to launch in late September.
There will be a new system called Heroic Adventures. (It is somewhat LDoNish, but much more varied, as the zone will be generated based on the group that zones in.)
In other news, there will be two new Hardcore Heritage zones in late August ... Nagafen's Lair, and Castle Mistmoore.
Also sometime in August, there should be more robe looks introduced.
For the 15th anniversary next year, there will be new race/class combinations (Keep an eye on the forums and such as they will be asking for player feedback) There will also be more player-designed missions for the anniversary (they'll be taken from 2 SOELive panels this week). Plane of War should also be part of the anniversary goodness.
This is "just" from the welcome speech stuff ... the panels over the next couple of days should provide more information. (If you're at SOELive and have information from a panel, please feel free to post details. I can't be everywhere at once, and at times, there are 3 different things on the schedule that I want to be at during the same timeframe.... ugh)
