I've been searching for one single source of spell research information, but cant find any!

Seems to me that Research should get a section on EQ Traders, all the spells, trivials, containers and components.

Besides - news on test is that the 50 - 60 spells are about to become researchable.

Yes the various class boards have some information, but it is mostly patchy and hard to find (except for the excellent Graffe.com )

Failing that, does anyone have a link to a complete spell's trivial list?

I think the Denmom decided that other sites handled it effectively. She has links to other sites regarding research. As for lists of trivial levels, I doubt that anyone has that information, since most casters only do what they have to do to get their spells, and stop once they've successfully researched them (or given up in frustration and bought them from someone else...)

Thiese trivials might be the same across all the classes.
If so, my question is - how have researchers got past 184 research skill if that is the trivial for the highest spells?

Research can be purchased at your guild trainer. This is the only way to get over 184. It is also one of the reasons for people saying that research is not a proper tradeskill (this point of view ignores the fact that fishing can be trained at your guild master).
