  • Grobb Faithstone and other changes-important for trolls!

    http://forums.shadowknight.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=11042&perpage=15&pagenu mber=1

New trolls now start in _Neriak_,not Grobb. Faithstones that once teleported you to Grobb are now changed to drop you near Neriak, instead. If you've got an alt or a mule you may want to move them out now.

And I bet SOE forget to move the troll cultural forge..
Itzena Alhazared, Revenant of {Planeteers}, Vallon Zek. And also a seamstress.
Gelcea Macha, Wandering Animist of Tarew Marr. Will be a smith, one day.

So now what do ogre's do about their spiritstones? Both ogres and trolls use spiritstone of innothule which used to port to the same location as swamp port potions. Innothule portstones are all now changed?

      Just curious.

Dunno, I think Ogre's were unintentionally sweeped up with the Trolls since they used the same Spiritstones. Perhaps they'll add a new one for Ogres (maybe you turn your old one in for the Ogre one since it'd be unfair to require them to buy a new one) or perhaps the Froglok's spiritstone will work for Ogres too and port to the old spot.

          @#$%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, now I've got some incentive to get to 65 as soon as possible just so I can lead a raid to reclaim my home town from those @#$% frogs!

I can't @#$% beleive this - will they remember to relocate our cultural oven and forge?

What about our shroom and veggy ground spawns - are we now going to have to wander through a zone full of hostile enemy guards to find them?

This is getting me very not happy.

What?!?!? A starting city for a whole race is being perm taken over? What about all the quests and other things for Trolls? Hopefully this doesn't mean that I can't go Home anymore ... Frog blood will pour for this injustice!

I checked my little level 5 troll beastlord, last seen hanging in Innothule, and found she was now in Nektulos. Whoa!

/agree It certainly caused a great deal of confusion last night in the swamps. I think it's great that they are shaking the game up a bit.

dynamic content my big troll butt-

                          Grrr-

Dynamic content WOULD be nice, but this wasn't it.

I'd bet a good chunk of my paycheck that it was a purely $$$$ decision. Re-using grobb saved them having to develop a new zone, 99.9% of the content (I think they all that changed was a few signs, and added in small bits of overlay graphics), AND saved them having to add any new servers. Granted, grobb was a little used zone (rotten vendor selection, very few non-buggy quests, etc), but they could have FIXED it instead of wiping it out instead.

The "swap" was also done poorly, with the lack of attention to detail we've all come to know an "love" from their non-existant QA department and o-so-sloppy dev team.

WTG verant- bet the profit ratio on this expansion buys yall a buncha new ferrari's... whups, you are sony corporate types now, you are salary slaves like the rest of us, nm.

                          RdT.
p.s. a very, very bitter troll.

A thought came to me last night...

The story they've been putting out so far tells of a Troll Hero and some rock (I don't remember the full details).

What if this whole thing is temporary?

Just before the new expansion, the Troll Hero will arise and the Trolls will take back their home... Interesting thought, eh?

Better hurry and do those Froggy quests now, people.
