Progression server tradeskilling

Very difficult at times to find all the info you need with old content / expansions tradeskills. Any help in any tradeskill would be helpful, but I am right now most curious about spell research. I am at 200 on the Fippy server and with PoP coming out, I cant seem to make any of the spells 61+. Get the message , you have not yet met the requirements...

Cant remember if you just cant make them or if there was something you had to do. I know there was a new spell research kit with a later expansion. Hope I dont have to wait that long to make these spells.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Didn't PoP extend the level limit to 65? I wouldn't think you would be able to make any spells through research in the 'current' expansion.
