Is the calculator still reliable AT ALL?

Trying to max baking, calculator shows I should be getting a skillup every 36 or so attempts.. (297 skill, 408 trivial, 12% trophy). It's now been over 300 attempts w/o a skillup, and some simple math calcs show this to be bordering on the impossible. Obviously, it's happened, so my only other conclusion is, the calculator is showing me a MUCH higher liklihood of skillup, compared to reality.

I saw this the one other time I maxed a tradeskill in EQ. Near the end, skillups were nowhere near close to what was indicated.

It is not impossible. The skill up formula has not changed since the calculator was put in. I personally did over 1000 combines between 1 point of skill up from 290-291 JC. It is frustrating. It is annoying. It seems like things are broken but it is just the RNG. Also, if you consider, you could also get skill ups on back to back combines.

Remember, the calculator is only showing you the estimated average.
