Veil of Alaris - any news regarding tradeskills?

Hello,

I have looked a bit at the news regarding "Veil of Alaris" and have not seen anything regarding tradeskills. Does anyone know if there are new recipes, higher skill cap, etc...?

Additionally, I can tell you that I have seen posts that confirmed NO tradeskill cap increase with VOA launch, and no eta on when/if they will be raised.

New recipes:
New baking meat
New brews using some new expansion generic drop *ala Chronal Resonance Dust, Cosgrove Powder, and Dream Dust
New pottery weapon ornaments
New cultural armor, symbols, raid seals, solo seals
New cultural weapons, symbols, bows
New metal for JC
New levels of poisons and potions from Alchemy and Poisonmaking

The NDA is still in place for anyone who is in beta to share specific details, but these are general categories, expanding on previous TS themes.

Hopefully, some of the ornaments on release or later will be ones mentioned in the thread the dev started a few months ago on the sony forums asking for pottery ornament suggestions.

The NDA was lifted today (or yesterday), as posted at Zam. I was not in beta, but I am interested in the news

No stat increase with launch. No new tradeskill related AA of any kind.

Cultural is all but dead for this expansion.

Visible armor will need templates just as they did in HoT. Hope you saved up on your Osmium Ore, Fantastic Animal Pelts, and Fantastic Silks.

Most all standard lines were upgraded like normal, new meat for baking, new metal/gem for JC, new brews using the expansion wide dust/powder drop, new level of poisons and potions for alchemy and poisoncraft, new tinkering toys, etc.

Lots of new pottery ornaments with a lot of them being older weapon models that were requested by the players at large.

Although this is something the developers want to add in the "near" future.

Well once the forums get added for VoA info I'll paste recipes that I did while in beta.
As for testing there are new components not sure what the other crafts were called as I spent the entire time doing spell research for Enc, druid and shaman. I got alot done but some recipes eluted me.

Skill cap was not raised in beta and the max level of research appeared to remain the same as current as well.

Please try to limit the amount of entries you post that come exclusively from beta without confirming that they are also functional, current, and correct on live if at all possible.

Not everything that goes to beta makes it to live.

the glossy thread and ore was not put in the game yet. So it's impossible to make all tradeskilled armor atm.

It is in game. It's available from Cultural Scholar Fahst in Argath. I've personally interacted with that vendor and bought one of everything to confirm EQ Item IDs and sell back prices

81-85 Spell Research...
Trying to figure out what the new Papers are called for the SoD Spells, Can anyone help me out here. Not even sure which zones they would be dropping in.

Tthe Level 81 - 85 spells will be researched with "tablets". The solution recipes are already in the database, but the raw materials haven't shown up in Lucy, Magelo or EQ Items yet. Presumably they'll be called something like Smudged Rough Spell Tablet, Stained Fine Runic Spell Tablet, etc - but I don't know for sure yet.
