Why can't below level 30 be allowed to do more?

[b]Just can't help noticing how easy Verant has made it for 30+ levels to make even more money with the dyes ... Why couldn't they have allowed prismatic dye components to be sold in places like EC or PoK ?? And another thing... people are charging 3 or more times the price of making these dyes. I believe in making a small profit, but not to the point of unfair proportions !

gotta ask, how is selling dyes at 3 time the cost A) unfair, B) relivant to characters under 30?

a level 1 can make and sell the dyes, if he/she has the plat and skills to make them.

My apologies - first time posting and didn't notice the "primal scream" room before I posted here.

As far as getting access to the dye components in Gunthak (?) - Kinda hard for a low level to go to Paineel > Warrens > Stonebrunt and wherever that portal to Gunthak is located, isn't it ?

you can always ask a friend to buy the stuff for ya. (if you don't have any EQ friends, you are sooo antisocial, why would you even try to interact with others just to sell dyes?)

also, if you are going to use that arguement, then it's also unfair that a low level characters can't smith cultural armor, because they are too small to farm components.

deal with it, level, learn your trade, then get what ya need to make what ya can.

Yes very easy to get there. Get a port to SB. Run to the ocean and then turn left and run to the dock. Click on the door to the boat and you are there. With sow you should not have any problems with the mobs. Also, trade skills that can make them, are happy to have something to sell.

If you have the expansion, you also have a map...

Just zoom out once you've gotten the port there and change elevation to 1000 or something, then you'll see it. It is a click zone, don't have to board the ship and wait.

The animals were green/light blue to 47 between me and the ship, so technically you may have to run real fast

And whats the deal with lvl 20 people being unable to solo virtually any dragon in the entire game?

Three words: Skimming pricing policy.

If you don't like the prices on dyes:
1) wait until they drop in price
or
2) make them yourself.
