- Items that increase skills now have a cap on how much skill they can increase. For existing items, this cap has been set to the current maximum possible for that skill.
Just snipped out the relevant part.
If I am reading this right, trophies will now be a set skill boost as opposed to a percentage. The current max on your 7/7 trophies is 15% of 300 or 45 points. These items will (should) continue to provide you with +45 points to your skill. This is a GOOD thing for tradeskilling. People's current complaints about the insanely high trivials are due partly to %age based trophies and partly due to mastery AA. This is one of 3 things that was required for a potential skill cap increase to tradeskills. The remaining "hurdles" are rewriting the skill up formula to allow for 300+ skill ups and a potential "fix" to mastery AA.
