Yesterday i had fun doing some vendor mining after reading the thread here i found:

7 nightmarewood sap @ 3pp each
46 silk swatches @ 8 gold each
2 blue diamonds @ 262pp each
1 Water Mephit blood @ 42pp
3 sandstorm pearls @ about 27pp each
1 Fiery Granite @ 20-30pp
1 Netted kelp Tunic @ about 530pp (found this in the bazaar *boggle* and resold last night for 2500pp)
14 excellent sabretooth cat pelts @ 3 gold each
5 lava rocks @ 1.5pp each
20 essence of winter @ 8gold each
3 essence of sunlight @ under 2pp each i think
4 windstones @ 17pp each
about 8 small pieces, 10 small bricks, 5 large bricks of acrylia
14 imbued jades @ 3.5pp each i think

I also found and bought these items even though i dunno what they are for:
3 doomfire capes @ 20-30pp each
2 doomfire sashes @ 20-30pp each
1 fire-veined stone @ 20-30pp
1 "a flaming head" @ 20-30pp (this was my favorite find, carrying around a flaming head in your backpack is the coolest!)
All these items (even the head) are stackable

I know this might be taboo but would someone be able to "suggest" some prices for some of these things? I know that selling is usually restricted to the marketplace but this would be more of an advice thing. I found several of these items on vendors and have no clue as to how to price them. I know that some of you would be reluctant, but understand that it is my desire to set a "fair" price. I don't want to gyp anyone nor do I want to be taken advantage of. Thanks for your suggestions.

I found an iron oxide for like 7 gp last night, also found a ton of baking stuffs, vann toes, centi toes and meat, jord meat. Also found 3 tae ew bloods for 211 pp each!

Not sure what you consider actual mining. I found 7 BDs on 1 vendor, but they were not mined. They were actually just sitting there. I ended up going around to several vendors and got a full stack from assorted vendors.

Yesterday, I started a newbie halfling druid on Bristlebane after the patch. Did the Deputy Tagil quest until I got a Wisdom potion and went to sell. Sitting right there was an Excellent Sabretooth Hide, Pieces of Acrylia, small brick or acrylia, large brick of acrylia and block of acrylia. Needless to say, I bought the hide, but no way did I have enough for the acrylia. =/

This item is so STUPIDLY RARE, that allakhazam has nothing on it, my bazaar couldnt provide one, or a rough PC, and the eqdruids channel has never heard of one. The denmom mentioned it being a very very rare drop off a rare mob, buried in the bottom of Akheva.

picked up 300 crytaline silks off a vender in the bazzaar, **** near fell over. cost me a little over 3p per stack, ended up with 149 swatches only one fail . Got my tailoring up 10 points for 60 combines so far. Beats farming greyhopers heheh.

I decided to give this a try yesterday after reading about it on the forums. And, wow, what fun! I was the lucky treasure finder of:

2 Excellent Sabertooth Tiger Hides
4 stacks of Spider silk
2 stacks of Spiderling silk
a Spider Fur Collar (paid 2pp - sold for 225pp)
10 Arctic Wyvern Hides
2 Cobalt Drake Hides
various 'Essences' including Winter and Darkness
various HQ pelts
condensed shadow and ice
Innovative Clockwork Bolts

Lots of other junk that I couldn't find uses for, too. And some foraged goodies that I'll need when I start trying to go for the GM in baking.

Asked it once but to no avail - is there possibly a list of drops that I can use while I merchant mine? So many times I've left stuff behind later to find to an extremely high platinum value! Please respond!

No, there is not.


Pay attention on the boards, and listen to what people want.

Look in the bazaar, for the combinables that people sell.

If you tradeskill, pay attention to what YOU would look for on a merchant.

Dont ask other people to do your research for you, friend.

A list *YOU* compile will have items that are useful to you. A list compiled by other would be what THEY think is valuable, on their server.

Check the other thread and use the ole "cut and paste" method. I have managed to compile a really good list of things to watch for. I made a nice deal yesterday selling Storm Ent Sap for 750pp. I also write down the names of interesting things, check recipes, and finally the bazaar itself to see if the item is listed up for sale.

My best find was 2 blue diamonds and 3 black marbles :shock: on a vendor in the paladin guild in North Freeport.

In two nights this week I found: 3 stacks of wolf fillets; 3 stacks dark chocolate cream; 5 bloody raven parts; 2 jord meats; 2 hobgoblin meats; 2 black acrylia bricks; tons of blocks of velium; 5 handmade backpacks; an adamantite ring (cost 82 on vendor, sells for 400+ in the bazaar, I need it for a quest); a drake egg; several stacks of fish rolls, 13 imbued ivories and a scattering of bloods and essences. And I only checked 3 zones. (I also found 2 tinkerer's bags, can't believe someone sold those back -- no cheaper then going to sola, but a good bit more convenient).

/edit oh, and I found a smithing hammer geerlok when they still sold for something, and a couple weeks ago bought a gauze press off a vendor for 450, which I resold for 2000.
