Sunshard ore, where is the best place to farm it?

See title.

I just burned over 300 sunshard ore without a single skillup in fletching (Glowing Energaic Bow) so now I need more I also use it for Powersources, so I need an easy place to farm it.

Difficulty is not really an option, its the frequency of the drops. Anyone have a favorite hunting ground for this item?

These are a global drop, so you need to go to a place that you can kill as fast as possible. I believe it drops from mobs in the upper 50s, low 60s, so whatever zone you can mass kill those would be best.

Fire is a good place. So is Crypt of Decay. And most of the PoP zones will garner you some AA experience as well, even at higher levels. If you hunt in Plane of Water, you can kill the hraqui that drop the water bow parts... and those are over 300 and 50K tribute and sell in most bazaars for about 10K apiece. A few of those, and you can buy your sunshard ore in the bazaar as well if you like. However, the hraquis will not drop the sunshard ore, they are over the level cap, you need to go to the mephits in water for the sunshard ore drops.

An alternative is mass destroying the treants in Blightfire to get the stave drops - some of them you can get two skill up chances on - first to to make the stave, then again when you turn the staves into actual bows.

I've had fairly good luck in BoT while farming ornate armor pieces. I usually get 2-5 sunshard ore per wing per clear. I also get a bit in CoD while farming nodding blue lilies off of the Rats. Hope this helps.
