Scale ore and purescale ore jewelcraft only?

Is scale ore only used in jewelry making? Those are the only recipes I can find that use it. I thought it was used in other tradeskills as well.


..and purescale ore , it seems to make only special kinds of water like "Eminent Water of Below" and others. What are those waters used for? Special class quests?

Correct. Scale ore is used to make Prismatic Palladium Bars for Jewelry Crafting.

The different waters are used in cultural smithing and tailoring (for the diety specific augments).

I thought purescale ore was a reminant of old versions of cultural armor and now have no real use.

If there are any present uses for Purescale Ore, they are not known.
