  • Trophy Evolution

The results of evoving my Master Baker Trophy at 0% to Denmother's Rolling Pin using Misty Thicket Picnics:

    Baking Skill: 300
    Mod +12%: 336
    Baking Mastery: 3/3
    Trophy: 0%

    Trivial: 335
    Attempts: 1114
    Success: 1044 (93.72%)
    Failure: 70 (6.28%)
    Trivial Points: 349740

I'm guessing I got trophy points from the 299 to 300 skill up but I didn't have the log running until after I hit 300. So the points needed to evolve the trophy is likely to be 350,000 points.

Don't different TRIV items give different amounts of trophy XP? I'm pretty sure it didn't take 1000 combines to evolve my Smithing and Tailoring trophy using symbols or my Jewelcraft trophy using Shimmering Nihilite.

Interesting though that you get essentially the same number of combines using items from the Solstice quest. I wonder if Solstice robes and Sickles would have yielded similar results prior to their triv chnage.

The trivial of the combine is the amount of exp that goes to the trophy. Anything 350 and above is rounded down to 350 for the sake of the trophy. So it would take more combines if it was trivial at 301 than if it was 350. Also, the total amount of experience needed varies based on the skill. Fletching, Tailoring, Smithing do not, if I recall, require as many combines as Baking, Brewing, or Jewelrycraft.

When the trophies came out I remember this all be tracked and documented though that was with release of PoR so those threads are probably long gone.

Ahh, I was looking for that very information but was unable to find it. So I started this thread to document my trophy evolutions. If anyone has a link or can remember the information it would save me the headach of doing this myself. I wasn't playing EQ much at all durring PoR so I would have missed all the relevent data.

So trophy evolution from level 1 to level 2: 3000
There are two problems with your data on this one.

First, the trophy does not earn experience for combines that are > 100 points greater the raw skill, until your raw skill reaches 250. (So none of the successful combines from 54-58 counted towards the EXP for the trophy).

Second, there is a 1100% modifier whenever the trophy level is below the raw skill level (it earns EXP 11 times faster). So in order to know the true amount of EXP we would need to know the number of successful combines when the raw skill was 58-99 and the number of successful combines from 100-108 (assuming other information given was accurate).

Also, when the trophy bonus < geerlok, there is no reason (other than testing purposes) not to use the geerlok with the trophy. The trophy does have to be equiped to get the experience from the successful combines, but it can be in any of the other three (Secondary, Range or Ammo) while the geerlok is in the primary.

Otherwise, your data collection and input has looked accurate and hopefully helpful to someone at some point.
